Hello! my name is Ngwafu and I am the Founder and Chef of gwafuvegan. I am an experienced chef, here to share my journey and passion for vegan cooking. Born in Cameroon, raised in the UK, I am now based in Manchester, which in my opinion, is one of the best places to be vegan. My goal is to further educate the nation about West african food through cooking, and then share this knowledge to fellow foodies and chefs. I think of food as the fuel of life, so, why wouldn’t you want to experience all of it?!
I have many years of experience in the food manufacturing industry, developing recipes and troubleshooting problems at a large scale, as well as ample restaurant experience, preparing and serving vegan food to a high standard. gwafuvegan serves as my live portfolio. Unless specified, all words and photos are my own.
gwafuvegan specializes in cooking and delivering affordable vegan West African food. We ensure to only use high-quality, sustainable produce that is locally sourced. Our number one aim is to spread our love of vegan food and our passion for West African cuisine. We ensure to deliver high-quality catering and pop up at markets/events in the North West. By doing this we showcase new and exciting flavours to our ever-growing diverse community.
