Supper Club
Ngwafu is putting on an evening of soul conscious cooking in collaboration with Balance Brewing & Blending.
For this supper club Ngwafu will be creating a menu all around the things she has grown at her allotment, foraged around Manchester and fermented throughout the year. Celebrating British seasonal food with Ngwafu's Cameroonian heritage. This low and slow dinner is showcasing creativity around food, encourage people to forage and grow their own food and enjoy throughout the year.
This dinner is a big step into what Ngwafu wants to achieve in the future, creating a closed loop system in the food industry. Eating nutritious plant based food with low environmental impact and reducing waste through various fermentation techniques.
Ngwafu is working with Balance Brewing & Blending, A brewy based in Manchester that use mixed-cultures and produces barrel fermented beers. Together they have created a beer using surplus plantain skins. Repurposing a product that usually gets thrown away into something delicious. Guests of this supper club will be one of the first to try it!
Once most the things grown for the event has been harvested the menu will be released and emailed out to all and announced on social media. We can provide food for most allergens and are nut-free, just state in the notes in your booking any allergens you may have.
