Supper Club
Join Ngwafu for an evening of soul-conscious cooking, in collaboration with Balance Brewing & Blending.
For this supper club, Ngwafu will be creating a menu with ingredients she has grown at her allotment, foraged around Greater Manchester, and fermented throughout the year. A celebration of British seasonal ingredients, and Ngwafu's Cameroonian heritage, this low-impact Manchester Supper Club aims to inspire creativity through seasonal eating.
Whether you’re a seasoned forager, long-term grower, or just curious about the benefits of eating seasonally and food preservation, this three-course meal isn’t one to miss.
This Supper Club is in collaboration with Balance Brewing & Blending, a vegan Manchester brewery that makes mixed-culture, barrel fermented beers. Ngwafu and Balance have been working together to bring you a delicious plantain beer, using surplus plaintain skins from local West African and Caribbean businesses. Guests of this Supper Club will be one of the first to try it!
